Aston, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Athletic Conference announced Monday the selection of Angela Sebasto (So, Pitcher/ Shortstop, Trenton, NJ/ McCorristin High School) as the PAC Softball Conference Pitcher of the Week.

 

Sebasto led the Knights to conference wins against Eastern, Gwynedd Mercy and Alvernia, posting a 3-0 record on the week. On Tuesday, she tossed a five-inning two-hitter, giving the Knights their first win of the week at Eastern. She followed that with a seven inning 5-hitter at Gwynedd Mercy on Friday. In that outing Sebasto fanned a season high 9 batters and allowed only one run. She closed out the week with an 11-2 win over Alvernia College on Saturday where she stepped up offensively as well going 2-for-3 with a triple at the plate.

 

For the season, Sebasto is 6-1 with a 0.85 ERA and 61 strikeouts in just 49.1 innings pitched.
