In game one, Angela Sebasto threw eight straight strikeouts until Steph Bickel hit a single in the top of the third inning to end the streak. The Knights would score the first runs of the game in the fourth inning. Sam Duncan would start off the scoring with a RBI double followed by a Audrie Porter single that would score a run to take a two run lead. Then a error by the pitcher scored two more for the Knights as they took a 4-0 in the fourth. Duncan would then bring in another run in on a single in the fifth to give the Knights a 5-0 lead. Then in the bottom of the sixth a Kimberly Kirkpatrick homerun would end the game for the Knights on the mercy rule giving Neumann a 8-0 game one lead. In game two, the Knights would fall behind early 2-0 but would tie the game back up at 2-2 in the bottom of the first. Jen Goslin would hit an RBI triple then would score on a wild pitch to tie the game at 2-2. Centenary would open the game up with a three run homerun by Lauren Cassoff in the fourth inning to take an 8-3 lead. The Cyclones would continue to do well at the plate as they broke the score open to 13-3. The Knights could not answer the rally by the Cyclones and the game ended after six innings on a mercy rule.
