"This is a great achievement for Angela and for the Knights behind her. Our team really supported each other this year and this speaks volumes to the effort, character and skill of not only Anglea, but to all 21-players on this team. They each give 110 percent each and every day, stated Head Coach, Bill Saar. The 2006 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and two-time first team All-PAC selection led the Knights to their first PAC championship title in 2006 and to their second championship appearance in 2007. In 74 games, Sebasto has batted .493 (No. 1 all-time) and recorded the highest on-base percentage (.508), the second highest slugging percentage (.732) and is second all-time in homeruns. She has struck out more batters than any pitcher in program history (279), has recorded the second lowest ERA (2.08) and has recorded the most wins with a 30-10 overall record. "I have been watching Angela for many years; she has really developed into an outstanding player and person. She has a passion for the game that can't be taught and that makes her a force no matter what side of the ball she is on." She also led the team this season in hits (66) and triples (2). She was third in doubles (12), stolen bases (4) and total bases (88) and went 15-6 this season with a 1.89 ERA. Sebasto also shined on the defensive side of the ball. She saw time at the shortstop and the designated player position where she committed only seven errors in 70 chances for a remarkable .900 fielding percentage. Neumann finished the 2007 campaign with a 28-12 record and its second best winning percentage (.700) in program history. Sebasto was joined on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All East Region softball team by freshman Jen Goslin and sophomore Caitlin Hanrahan and who were named to the All-NFCA Division-III Second Team and Third Team respectively.
