2007 ECAC All-Star, Jen Goslin
Freshman Softball Standout Jen Goslin Named ECAC All-Star

ASTON, Pa. -- Freshman softball standout Jen Goslin was recently selected as a 2007 ECAC Division III Southern Softball All-Star.


Goslin, the 2007 PAC Rookie of the Year, turned in one of the best single-season  performances in Neumann history. The honorable mention All-PAC League selection hit .417, the fifth-highest season total by a Knight. Jen also recorded 14 doubles, the third-highest season total, and is the career season leader in putouts.


The Coatesville, Pennsylvania native earned a nomination to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-East's third team. Other high honors include: Eighth place ranking in the nation as one of the toughest NCAA Division-III players to strike out and a national ranking of 27th in RBIs. Jen's highest honors include a ranking among the top 50 best division-III players in home runs and doubles on the 2007 season.


Known around the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference as one of the top leaders, Goslin was ranked 2nd in doubles and 3rd in RBI and fielding percentage. She also put in a good showing for slugging percentage and on base percentage.


Neumann completed the 2007 campaign with a 28-12 overall mark. For the third consecutive year a Neumann Knight has been honored with the PAC's Rookie of the Year honor and for the second consecutive season, the Knights advanced to the PAC Championship.
