ASTON, PA, -- Neumann College fell to visiting DeSales University 9-0 in women's tennis action on Thursday afternoon at Neumann College. It was the first match of the season for the Neumann women, while DeSales improved to 2-0. "We knew that this would be a tough match," Stated Head Coach Christian Gosseaux. "However, I felt it would be a good way for us to start off the year. Our team needs to be competitive this season and DeSales is a very competitive team. Despite the loss the women played well. Allison Trout and Kayla Chamberlain did a nice job for us, I will expect a lot from them this season." The Knights will be back in action on August 5, when they host Lebanon Valley College at 3:30 p.m. Tennis Match Results Singles competition 1. Courtney McClurkin (DSUWT) def.
