October 23, 2004 - Allentown, PA - Neumann College sophomore Heather Hatala took on Gwynedd Mercy College's Lynn Beben in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference 3rd seeded singles championship. After winning the first set 6-2 Hatala gave back the second and third sets to Beben. Final score for the championship was 2-6, 6-2, 6-2.

Head Coach Spickler stated, "I am so proud of Heather today. She fought for every point and played a very good opponent. There is no question that she can win this tournament in the future."

Hatala was the only Knight to advance to a final round.
