Courtsey: Brett Leonhardt, Neumann College Sports Information - Aston, Pa-Saturday afternoon The opening game turned out to be the most exciting, with a back and forth effort by both teams right until the end. Julia Tarloski led the Knights with 6 kills followed by Rachael Sokolovich with 4. Strong serving by team co-captain Jenna Halpin anchored the team in the end with a 30-27 win. The second game was almost as equally exciting as the first with a strong effort by both teams. Rachael Sokolovich added 8 kills to her two game total of 12 and Kristen Gregg-Verone led with a two game total of 16 assists. With the game tied midway through, Sarah Miller answered with 3 key kills that seemed to boost the spirits of the Knights and give Neumann the edge back. The Knights went on to secure the win 30-24. Entering the third game, Neumann had their opponents pinned in a corner. Once again the Knights showed no mercy coming out and grabbing a commanding lead. Kelly Saville stepped up in the third game and made big plays to maintain the Knights lead and closed with 2 kills on the night. Kristen Gregg-Verone finished with 26 assists on the day and led the Knights to a 30-20 victory over the Knights of Arcadia. Neumann improves to 5-1 in PAC play and 12-9 overall.
