JERSEY CITY, NJ- #1 seeded New Jersey City University defeated #8 Neumann College, 3-1, by a 30-21, 20-30, 30-20, 30-21 margin in the quarterfinals of the 2006 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III South Tournament. The tournament was hosted by NJCU at the John J. Moore Athletics and It was the first meeting between the two schools in women's volleyball history.
